Martin Denev was born in Bulgaria. After completing classical piano education he went on exploring different music styles and different parts of the world. He studied music in Rotterdam, Holland; Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA and in Santiago De Cuba. He can be heard on variety of recordings - from jazz to hip-hop, from movie- soundtrack to dance, from latin to electronics, delivering large spectrum of skills and colours, both as a leading artist or a sideman. He's been performing on hundreds of stages around the world, including North Sea Jazz, Lowlands, World Port Jazz, Middem Festival Cannes, Soundrenaline Jakarta, Liberation Festival Holland, Noordeslag, Westbury Music Fair, New York, Passadena JazzFest, Java Jazz, Jakarta, Paris, Madrid, Ibiza, USA, Iceland, Canada, Indonesia, Mexico, Beijing. Recently Martin released his first solo-album - Martin Denev "Stolen Blessings", featuring different artists like Colonel Red, Ntjamrosie, Rob van de Wouw, Gea Russell and others, being released in Indonesia on Demajors Independent Label.He travels exessivelly troughout Europe, Caribbean, Asia and America, joining numerous music projects and enjoying the simple pleasures.
